Casa Rondeña Winery is a
one-of-a-kind wedding and event venue located in Albuquerque's North
Valley. The spiritual and calm feeling,
the manicured lawns, and the romanticism of a fully-operational winery will
make your wedding one to be remembered for many years. Casa Rondeña Winery offers three event
spaces in a unique setting surrounded by cottonwoods, our lush vineyards, a
beautiful pond and flowing fountains.

wine-producing region in America. A picturesque environment, classic
architecture, fine hand-crafted wines, attention to detail and commitment to

At Casa Rondeña our
specialty is creating customized wedding packages for each of our clients. The experience starts with a visit and tour
of our property, a no-obligation consultation to find out exactly what your
vision is, followed by our suggestions for time, structure and price. We want to make sure that we provide you
with the highest level of customer service and the clearest information.
Wedding
Facilities
Casa Rondeña has three event spaces:
the Great Hall, the Rotunda, and the 1629 Club. As a working winery the barrels, casks and
winemaking equipment add to the charm of hosting your special event at Casa
Rondeña. All three areas are suited for
ceremonies and receptions, and include indoor and outdoor space.
The
Great Hall
The Great Hall is the original Casa Rondeña Winery fermenting room. Modeled after a Moroccan souk with a
gorgeous vaulted ceiling, it is our largest indoor space on the property. To the east of the Great Hall is the Great
Hall Garden. This picturesque outdoor
space includes a lawn and patio area nestled between our grape vines and
pond.
The Rotunda
This
octagonal room hosts a stunning domed ceiling and ornate tile work reminiscent
of architecture Mr. Calvin has experienced overseas. Connected to the Rotunda is the Barrel Room. This unique space is where our award-winning
wines age in large oak barrels. The
aroma of wine and oak fills the room and gives your guests an authentic Casa
Rondeña experience. Just outside the
Rotunda and Barrel Room lies the Founder’s Garden, a quaint outdoor space
accented with Middle Eastern style archways and a fountain centerpiece.
The 1629
Club
Located at
the back of the property, The 1629 Club originated as the founder's private
residence. This beautiful home has now
been transformed into our member’s club.
The first floor hosts ample lounge seating as well as a dining room
surrounded by striking views of the winery.
The meticulous details created in the architecture of the building make
for a warm and inviting space for your guests to socialize. Situated to the west of the club is the 1629
Lawn where you can host your ceremony and reception in the comfort of Mr.
Calvin’s old backyard. Your friends and
family will relax and enjoy the celebration in our large covered patio
overlooking our pond.
Additional Amenities
These items can be added to your base rental fee to create a package unique to
your wedding. Each addition to your
package will be at a discounted rate.
Rehearsal Dinner
Spend an unforgettable
evening with your closest friends and family in the most beautiful venue in
Albuquerque. Set up a family style
table through the Barrel Room, or serve heavy hors d'oeuvres and lounge in the
1629 Club.
Private Tour & Tasting
Treat your friends and
family to a personal tour of our beautiful property, followed by a private
tasting of our award-winning wines.
Entertain out of town guests, show off your wedding venue, and enjoy a
relaxing day at the winery.
Engagement Photography
Session
Casa Rondeña’s
picturesque grounds are the perfect backdrop for your engagement photos. Bring your own photographer and capture this
special time for years to come.
Bridal Suites and Groom’s
Rooms
Casa Rondeña has several
spaces for bridal suites and Groom’s Rooms throughout the property. Come early in the day and take time to get
ready and relax before your wedding begins.
(Use of these spaces 1 ½ hours before your wedding begins is included in
the base rental fee.)

Catering
Casa Rondeña does not
have in-house catering. You are welcome
to bring in any fully licensed caterer.
If the caterer you like has never worked with Casa Rondeña before, we
request that they schedule an appointment to see the facilities they will be

Decorations
Casa Rondeña does not provide any decorations other than what is already on the
property. You are welcome to create
your own decorations including centerpieces, flowers, lighting, etc… You can
then drop them off to the winery for our staff to set up on the day of your
wedding. Decorations including floating
candles and flowers, luminarias, sparklers, and outdoor grade white lights on
tree trunks and outdoor columns are permissible. Casa Rondeña can recycle our empty wine bottles and corks for you
to use as decorations. Please bring a
large rubber bin for us to collect these items in.
Noise Ordinance
Casa Rondeña is located
within The Village of Los Ranchos and there are strict regulations within the
village that we must abide by. One of
those regulations is the noise level.
Any amplified music (D.J.s, Bands, etc...) must be housed inside to keep
the sound fewer than 54 decibels at our property lines. Any musicians (string quartet, harp, guitar,
etc...) can be outside for your ceremony and/ or reception as long as they are
not amplified.
Hours of Operation
The Village of Los Ranchos
governs our hours of operation. Because
we are located in a residential area, all private events must be shut down by
10:00pm as a courtesy to our neighbors.
Alcohol
Because Casa Rondeña is a
winery and produces alcohol on the property, we are not allowed to serve beer,
hard liquor, other wines, or champagne.
The liquor laws only permit us to serve the Casa Rondeña Wines that we
sell on the property. There are several
different ways that we can set up your wine bar. You can purchase cases of wine, pay by the bottle, or offer a
cash/ credit bar. We also make batches
of sangria that you can purchase and are in the works of making a wine cocktail
menu to give you and your guests more variety.
**Wine club members receive additional wine and rental fee discounts**
Parking
Casa Rondeña has very
limited parking accommodations. Your
event will have up to 45 parking spaces available to you and your guests. The number of spaces you receive is determined
by what is happening on the property on the day of your event. Additional parking is provided at Taft
Middle School and a shuttle is required to bring your guests to and from the
winery. Please note that Casa Rondeña
does not provide a shuttle service and you are responsible for hiring/
providing someone for that service.
There are several shuttling options that can be discussed.
Booking Your Date
To
secure your desired date Casa Rondeña needs two things, a $1,000.00 booking
deposit and a signed contract. The
$1,000.00 booking deposit consists of a $500.00 security deposit and a $500.00
rental deposit. The $500.00 security
deposit is held for any potential damages to the property during your
event. If no damages are incurred, then
the $500.00 will be refunded back to you within one week after the
wedding. The $500.00 rental deposit
goes towards the balance of the rental fee.
Cancellations less than 60 days before the scheduled event forfeit their
$500.00 rental deposit.
