Named for the year Franciscan monks smuggled the first grapevines into New Mexico in defiance of the Spanish Crown, the 1629 Club is Casa Rondeña’s private restaurant and one of Albuquerque’s most distinctive dining destinations.

Set within John Calvin’s former villa on the winery grounds, the 1629 Club offers Spanish and New Mexican cuisine with wood-fired dishes, brick-oven pizza, and a wine list drawn entirely from the estate.

Dinner is served Thursday through Saturday, 5:00 PM to 8:30 PM. Sunday Brunch is served at Animante de Rondeña, 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
